Who are these donors? I love how the media can make claims with no citing of sources.

Many Billionaires close to the program . Money is not an issue right now. Fleck has excited the folks with money and the University. This guy doesn't want to out his sources, but he is spot on.

Don't be surprised if his total compensation figure is north of $2 million when announced.

Yeah I could see 2 as a base and then the rest in incentives. I hope the assistants get a bump too though.

Im thinking the same would not be surprised at 2.5 plus incentives.

Fleck could be our version of Chris Peterson for Boise. Stay longer than anyone expected, build a great program, then move only when the time is perfect. Makes a lot of sense.

He could be willing to be our Chris Peterson... waiting things out to take over a B1G/ND team who's Already Winning + allows him to run things HIS way, which would make him wait a while until that happens. Hopefully that becomes the case... but I wouldn't count on it.

Lets say PJ stays for the $2 million, we all know that some of our most important positions will be filled with very little experience plus we play a tougher schedule. How will everyone including the big $$$$ boosters feel if we go 8-4?? Will that be good enough for that kind of pay?

Knowing that he has a track record of great recruiting and knowing that a year of experience makes a lot of difference in a kid's production in year two and three Id say most of them would be patient.

Disagree as far as actual play quality. The program has to move forward at a higher level than 8-4.
Yes positions need to be filled. Was sink staff has been quoted he has genuine NFL potential. Has had two year of low impact garage kept grooming should be up to speed by conference play. Anybody can hand off to our backs. O line will be good. Crazy man in Ernsberger he will be a force as a receiver, the guy is an athlete. D will be down a notch I think. But 9 should be doable as a base, IMO.

We will have a more challenging schedule than this year. We could go anywhere from 7-5 to 12-0 again and I'd be fine with it.

Losing as much as we are on offense, I would be happy with whatever PJ does next year if he comes back.

Winning at USC and MSU would be Huge!!! This years team might have been able to accomplish it.

Got to remember the Terrell Davis thing is special, by far the best I've ever witnessed at WMU and that is saying a lot we've had extradinary combos in the past. But this years level with 14 straight wins is an outlier we may never see it again.

If we keep beating Central and are in the thick of things in the MAC west - worth the money to me!

We will lean on our running game and Offensive line next year.

Next man up at WR and QB.

Defense will be better next year as we have lots of youth. Spears is gonna be a monster.
