Yeah, not enough cross divisional matchups that even make sense on a permanent basis. USM/Marshall based on history, UAB/MT based on proximity...that's about it.

Remind me what the divisions will be starting next year?

This. Don't be surprised if they just keep the same schedules as this year, flip the locations, and shoehorn UAB in there somewhere.

We've been in a conference with UTEP for 12 years and played them 4 times.

We had played UAB so frequently that I would not be surprised we'd be matched with them again.

None. eligible for title in 2017. That has never been in question.

Selfishly I hope we get MTSU and WKU. I do love thoe trips to the keys though and going down to Miami or Bocca is always a great excuse to take the whole week off.

I hate that we are in opposite divisions of UAB.

They have become a nice trip and friendly rival.

BTW, the Titans were having much trouble with UAB's former running back Jordan Howard yesterday.

We haven't played each other since '14 but then again, we haven't played FIU or FAU since '13 so there's that...also, we haven't played WKU as a conference game every (not counting the CUSA champ. game last year).

I can almost guarantee Charlotte will play UTEP, North Texas and LaTech next year from the West. From the East it will most likely be @ODU, Marshall, and Western Kentucky. Everything else is a toss-up.

I think you'll play all East division members and just 2 West division.

If I remember correctly, in order to have a championship game, you have to play all the members in the division (we've had exemptions for this year and last)

I think next year USM will probably be playing (from the East division):

-WKU, home or away, not sure but we haven't played a regular season conf. game yet since they joined CUSA
-@Marshall, we have played them every year home/away rotating since 2005, I really don't see the conference changing that, we hosted them this year
-Either FAU, FIU, or MTSU (assuming we're sticking w/ the rotating 3 cross divisional games of 2 home 1 away every other year, this year we had 2 home-Marshall/Charlotte and 1 away @ODU)

*Edit* On second thought, I doubt we'll be playing MTSU because we would officially have the toughest conf. schedule playing La Tech, WKU, Marshall, and MTSU.

You're right. With UAB back it will be 6 division games and 2 cross division games from now on.
