Not really we know this **** is gonna happen with this effed up conference and how the bowl ties were made. We had our chance when we played WKU and crapped the bed so we've got to deal with this.

LOL! you think you probies should get special treatment?? 03-lmfao03-lmfao

Who asked for special treatment? We didn't. since the bowl deals were made not in the best interest of eastern teams i am wondering why won't the CUSA HQ rethink bowl ties. Hawaii/Bahamas fantastic for the players but not for the fans or atleast not for the majority of the fan bases.

Do you think CUSA has any power in this??

Yea, with that great season USM had, we are in a position to look down on the NO Bowl.

Hey at least Southern Miss got to play Tech for their Super Bowl game 04-cheers

Once again, is ULL your Super Bowl game? It obviously isn't USM.

Man we could go 0-12 (again) and I would still look down at the NO bowl. I'm being serious too. With that said, my family and I will still attend the game if USM does end up in that bowl only because I support Southern Miss.

Why the hate of the NO Bowl? I haven't had a bad experience at the NO bowls I have attended. Well, the loss to MTSU wasn't fun, but otherwise it was a good trĂp.

You're going to be playing Louisiana-Lafayette. The bowl should be relatively well attended, assuming ULL beats ULM this weekend and the bowl is announced.

Sun Belt is rated higher than C-USA this season. Accept it and love it. You get a decent game in what i've heard can be a fun town.

USM should beat ULL and bowl game should have a really good crowd. I didn't even think ULL had a chance to get to 6 W's after the way they started the year

FWIW CBS sports has USM and Memphis in the Boca Raton Bowl.

Unless they make the Access Bowl, all G5 bowls are crappy.

I think ULM at home can beat ULL this weekend.

RE: USM looks headed to NO.
I understand the disappointment in the ODU fans. Pretty much everything that can be said on either side of it has been said.

Sucks for the fans.

But our players LOVED it. I think it was the first year of the bowl. We blew out to a huge lead and Doughty could've set records that won't be matched. Jeff Brohm learned a lesson that day. He took the foot off the gas coming into the second half.

We almost blew the biggest lead ever in a bowl game. Saved by a breakup of a 2 point conversion.

For a lot of the kids that play football this was their only chance to ever go to a place like the Bahamas. And get treated like royalty. So your kids on the team will love the hell out of it.

Just kick back in front of the high def big screen with family and enjoy.

I would suggest to the ODU that you be thankful for any bowl you get and not complain. All it takes is a three year period like we lust had recently with only 4 wins to cure that.

Nasty, I'm starting to suggest we make that suggestion to our own fans... I mean good grief, the kids survived long enough to indeed qualify for a bowl game and we've got fans who are saying "don't want to have it"?

WKU's beat writer seems to think it will be WKU vs Memphis in Boca Raton Bowl, that works for me! I think that would be a really good match up...

That would be a great game, certainly something really competitive to look forward to, though my sentimental favorite would be for Memphis to play USM--tied with Ole Miss as our longest standing opponent at about 60 games or so.

I think WKU ends up in Boca regardless of this weekend's game leaving Tech w/ Dallas and USM to NOLA
