only get better as the season progresses. Cuse was a big win.

Brimah is averaging 6 pts and 5 rebs per game. Last night he had 2 and 4 with 4 blocks. He is a complete liability late in the game because he is a horrible free throw shooter. I would not call him formidable at all.

He can be dominant in the lane. Despite his missed FTs, he kept the Cuse from scoring inside. He's never been a prolific scorer or rebounder.

Ok, just have never thought much of him.

Brimah is long and he can block against lesser bigs, but beyond that, he's actually pretty much a non-factor.
Syracuse and UConn are both pretty bad this year.

Outside of D'Angelo Russell who was ridiculous in his year there, they've taken a major step back from where they were in the early past of this decade. Kind of odd.

I'd say re-emergence of indiana, michigan and uk as make recruiting players has something to do with it.

Aren't there health concerns with Mattas back? Maybe he's lost the drive?

Matta's strategy of playing patsies at home to start the season bites him in the butt.
04-cheers04-cheers04-cheers04-cheers

From our invaluable ESPN researcher Jacob Emert: Ohio State 122-8 at home in nonconference games under Thad Matta but check this: 108-3 first 11 seasons and now after FAU loss 14-5 the last two seasons. RPI 93

He has had health issues dating back to his XU days. There are a lot of friends of mine in Columbus who thought this would be the year he steps down...not sure why, but apparently something has gotten worse.

I've got a hunch that won't be the last pun we see here.
