I'm usually against a coach doing that for the simple reason that by re-entering a game which has been locked up to pad a stat or two is risky. Turning an ankle or twisting a knee to grab one more board isn't worth it on an already-thin team. But given all of the circumstances with this team, I think Tubby did the right thing. He showed he has the guys' backs, which wasn't always the case the previous several years.
