Sadly that really resonates. I really see zero improvement, especially offensively, with this team. Really disappointing.

And with players who were hyped to be the second coming. Guess we were wrong again.

It's almost as if, much like football, we should wait until recruits/teams to play before we crown them

Well, it really wasn't our fault. We were so burned by football that we were looking for something to look forward to and get excited about. Guess that turned out to be women's volleyball. Who would have thunk it?

Guilty as charged, I was wrong about this team.

Its not like the MAC gets at large bids anyway... these games are meaningless until we get into conference play. Relax people.

A good team or a well coach team does not lose the last two games. There is a fine line between an average team and good team.

It was the 4th and 5th games of the year lol. This isn't football. There's still a ton of talent on this team. There is work to be done, but they'll get better.

Indiana just lost to IPFW yesterday.

Not giving up but it is really really hard to imagine this team being able to be a contender to win the MAC. The MAC is deep but right now I feel like Akron and Ohio are a good deal ahead of everyone else. To me, that is what the expectations should be now, win the MAC. Maric just seems a shell of his self too. This is probably the softest team in the MM era.

A road loss @ CS-Northridge is definitely excusable, tonight's loss is not.

I really think something has to be up with Maric, injury perhaps?

RE: Thanksgiving Tourney
There is nothing wrong with Maric. The last two games he has had two fouls and barely played a whole half each game. Maric got 7 minutes in first half tonight. He needs to stop picking up that silly second foul. Huskies shot great second half but several players have struggled shooting. The key stat to victory I believe is making 10 three pointers a game. Huskies have the guys to do it on paper but you have to do it in the game. Plenty of opportunity for them to improve but the season is at a cross roads now. Another loss and things could snow ball!

Be realistic. 10 3s a game? Do you know how many schools averaged 10 or more 3s a game last year? 10...out of 351.

If the key to victory is 10 3s a game, we're gonna lose a lot of games.

The Huskies struggles are simple to see. Maric getting into early foul trouble. Armstead, Highsmith, Pauga, Wilson and German shooting just awful!

NIUnewsfactory, Huskies averaged 7 three's a game last year. Ball St, Akron and likely CMU averaged nine or more last year.

RE: Thanksgiving Tourney
Last year NIU made 238 three's in 34 games that is 7 per game. That was with their best three point shooter Pauga being hurt most of season. This year I believe we will start seeing 1 from Dontel, 1 from Armstead, 1 from Bradley, 1 from German, 2 from Wilson, 2 from Pauga, 1-2 from Porter and every once in awhile Maric, McCarthy and Key may make 1
