Eh who cares, the committee isn't giving the big bowl to a MAC team anyway, even though they deserve it

Give WMU Houston's schedule and they have AT LEAST 3 losses. Give Houston WMU's schedule and they win every game by at least 21. Same goes for Boise.

I wouldn't say that for Boise. Just Houston.

Yeah maybe. I'm of the mind though, if you haven't beaten, let alone played one or two top 45 teams, you don't deserve a major bowl game.

Doesn't do you any good to play good teams if you don't beat them. Or it shouldn't. Besides, you don't know how the team is going to be when you schedule them.

Houston being ahead of WMU in the rankings is meaningless. They won't be in the AAC championship so they won't be in the Access Bowl.

Boise won't be in their title game either. It's just the committee admitting to everyone that WMU doesn't deserve the sympathy Bowl, but they will probably play in it

RE: Toledo vs. WMU predictions
I can obviously see WMU winning it, but Toledo's pissed about last year.

When Toledo plays good, they play good. They're also capable of playing not so great. However, WMU can play sub-par too, so Certainly beatable at home.

I'd bet Toledo, given the spread. Who wins it? I can easily see either team being the final winner.

Yea but Navy is ranked and if they win out there is no doubt they will jump WMU. The MAC is bad this year.

I'd say there's plenty of doubt a 2-loss Navy jumps an undefeated WMU.

In any event, we need to go back to the BCS rankings, this committee crap is just not cutting it, COMPLETELY CLUELESS and USELESS

So you were part of the Herbie crew who thought the Huskies didn't belong in the Orange Bowl? The only ranked team NIU beat was Kent State, which doesn't really count as a ranked team because they are also MAC. Or does your logic only apply to WMU?

Sure, it's tough to argue that the Broncos have beaten a bevy of quality opponents, but they do have a couple of nice wins early in the season and they've crushed most of their opponents.

RE: Toledo vs. WMU predictions
If WMU handles Toledo and Ohio by a couple scores in each game they will get some more respect from the voters IMO, but as of now their only win against a team above .500 is EMU.
