Did we become zone busters this game or was Toledo not paying attention all weekend

None of us know the particulars of the suspension, but it may have involved a minimum number of games suspended with the possibility of more games if Talley didn't fulfill the points of the suspension. If so, then kudos to Keatts for not compromising the terms.

The first two games aggravated me so much I didn't listen to today's game.

They went to zone a few times, but just like UNCW, I think they primarily play man and were out of sync when they went zone.

I was too. Wondering why he hadn't played yet. He hit a 3 and all 4 free throws after sitting the entire the game. He also had 2 rebounds all in 6 minutes.

Sucks for them. The 25 point win led me to believe we didn't see much zone today

I actually think it was perfect timing for Elmore. With the game out of reach, he could come in with no pressure. Allowed him to get some confidence with a few rebounds, some made FT's and drained a 3. Great confidence builder for a player with size, whom we can use as we enter conference play. At this point, I think Keatts was more concerned about a loss of confidence in the wrong situation.
Hopefully Keatts can allow Elmore to build on this with a few minutes in more important stretches of a game.

Ingram had a halftime buzzer beater today

Looks like we have a go-to guy in high pressure situations

I didn't realize Toledo thumped Davidson and took UCLA to the wire. May end up being a good win year end.

RE: Game 5 - Toledo (Challenge in Music City @Nashville, TN)
I get the frustration, but it sounds like a successful tournament to me. Won 2 of 3 against quality competition, and our guys faced adversity in two games. Big picture in mind, this is good for us, and should prepare us for conference play.

Regarding Talley, in depends on the terms of the suspension and what was discussed between Keatts and himself. As someone suggested, it may have been a minimum of 5 games based on future conduct. It sucks that he was needed and missed against MTSU, but that's the nature of discipline. Hopefully, it's all in the past now, and Jordan is locked in the rest of the season.
