Hawks down 5 with about 9 minutes to go. MTSU in a 2/3 and UNCW having a hard time. The tempo isn't UNCW like. Hawks do have good guards that can make a game of this but they need to step up as a team. Ingram is clutch.

Why they let MTSU go all the way down the floor without fouling on that possession following Flemmings' free throw is beyond me.

We deserved that loss tonight. Couldn't take care of the ball and took nearly 40 three point shots. You can't win like that when you haven't shot well from deep all season. Better learn how to attack a zone too. How have we not figured that out going on our third year of this system now?

Sounds like this team came out flat tonight and wasn't the aggressor. That's unusual. With that written, you still have to be a good team to beat UNCW, even if they were WAY off, so hats off to MTSU. They must have a good team.

Another game where you look at it and ask what the crap. Why o why can't we play against zone defense. Why do we settle for 3s. Why do we not go big and put Chuck and Cacok in at the same time. It's a good thing no one saw this game because MTSU just laid blueprint for how to beat us. If they had shot better than 50% from free throw line they would have had a double digit win

Yep, have to attack that 2/3 from the high post and prudent ball reverals. I didn't see that game but have seen our team struggle against the zone from time to time.
