As I said, Cuse was overrated at 5-2 but it is a rivalry game and maybe this win will give UCONN some badly needed confidence and they can turn this thing around.

It was a good win...especially on a night when both teams had poor shooting nights.

Sadly for UCONN (and AAC teams), Syracuse has a low RPI this year (#171, 3rd lowest in ACC) but hopefully that will improve once they get into conf play.

With the win, UCONN moves up to #203.

Syracuse still has an "expected RPI" of 54 it looks like so that should be a good win when it all shakes out.
