NCAA Tranafter Rules
Not saying this is true, just repeating what Wolo just said on his show.
He believes there's a rule in place that allows the player to transfer back to the school they transferred from not having a sitter out of here. It's the only school they can transfer to and play immediately.
Take it for what it's worth.

It's the 55 yard line transfer rule.

I have 0 inside information on this. But just surface level common sense seems to dictate there is basically no circumstance under which he AN transfers back to Memphis...

I'm not even sure I'd want him back. Nothing against him really, sounds like he's got some issues to straighten out and I would suggest he get those addressed before trying to be a basketball player.

Y'all do realize how truly messed-up his life has to be right now for all this to have happened right ?

Perhaps a steady influence like Tubby Smith is what he needs.

Manziel was at least smart enough to wait for his first pro contract to come through...

This.^^
I have nothing but sympathy for the young man. All the rumors indicate he just doesn't care that much about playing basketball, even though he is pretty good at it. That is a problem that is difficult to fix. And according to rumors, goes to Memphis instead of UVA (rebelling against his Dad). Then, the stuff happens here in town. Runs off to UVA hoping it will solve his problems (nope). Now is completing the downward spiral into depression and his life is in someways falling apart on him (A young man with a lot of potential, who finds himself at a really low point).
I hope he can find a way to get through these issues, and come out ok. Maybe it is playing basketball here at Memphis again (I would certainly welcome it, how can you say "no" to one of your own). Maybe it is wrapping up a degree at UVA. Whatever path he takes really doesn't matter, I just hope he has a good support structure to work through the problems.

Or maybe Sumlin just let him get away with everything because he was good ?
Maybe Pastner let Nichols get away with stuff here ?
Maybe Bennett actually does care about something other than talent ?

As opposed to Tony Bennett who is a unstable influence? Austin really doesn't enjoy playing BB anymore.

So he was on the stuff here then stopped for a whole year then started back this season or did Tony let it slide?

RE: NCAA Tranafter Rules
they need to drop the legal drinking age back to 18
that would give the college kid a legal option
(all those bars next to cincinnati, how do they survive, they
must depend on the graduate students)

There's kava bars...and they are already legal.
Put 'em on wheels and roll 'em to the campuses.
