Didn't see this on the board yet. Houston 18th, Navy 28th, USF 30th, and Temple 36th. The worst part of this poll is that 4 loss LSU (5-4 in FBS) is 25th. Their only win against an FBS team with a winning record is against 7 and 4 Arkansas. How did they get ranked at all?

Like ive said many times its the P5 bias nothing more. Until we shed the G5 label we will continue to be knocked down. Its stupid that a label should determine rankings but it does.

Eh transitive dont really work well all the time in college. Im not surprised that they dont always apply it to their rankings.

Not as inexcusable as it seems, SMU is almost bowl eligible. They could beat Navy. Granted, getting blown out by them is not excusable.

Hmm maybe but i dont see it. While it would be good for us if they beat navy it would be terrible for the conference. So im not really sure who to root for in that game.

The Coaches poll is worse, UH is only 21, right ahead of Texas A&M who for some reason is still receiving votes, let alone ranked.

Could be worse, Western Michigan is 11-0 and only 18. Oklahoma State, who LOST to Central Michigan at home (WMU blew them out on the road) and Baylor is ahead. I could go on, it's a joke.

Thats simply too logical to ever happen. What will happen most likely is an 8 team playoff with the top seeds getting buy's. The P5 will have auto bids while the G5 gets two, and the last spot will be an at-large. ESPN is already talking about how that will be the way college football achieves maximum vales while also giving a level playing field.

Agree. The intention of the P5 (and they hold all the cards now that they have autonomy) is to relegate all non-p5 schools to a new 1-aa status. They control who is scheduled, they have the bowls locked up, and they can stop anyone else from seriously contending for the National Championship.

If they can't make the rules currently to exclude us, they will tilt the table further in their favor by paying their players.
