Followed up the win over #2 JMU with a win over #3 Drexel. Will face #5 Delaware in the QFs. Women's tourney is in Harrisonburg.

They are the 4th seed, like the men's team. Also like the men's team they can compete/beat any team as well as lose to most any team in conference.

Ladies played two of their best games of the year to finish the regular season, strongly snapping out of their late slump...which bodes well for a solid chance for the upset title in the tourney.

The win at home against a good Drexel team showed crisp passing leading to many easy baskets
and a tenacious defense.

The win at JMU was a breakthrough victory for our program. How big? Well, we had not defeated
James Madison at their home court since 1999, some 18 years! A great confidence booster for our ladies.

The Tribe women have a decent shot at winning the tourney if they can maintain the level of the past two games. This is a senior and junior laden squad so I imagine they'll be ready.

Swanson's done an incredible job both in recruiting and coaching within the parameters he is given to work. One more win to reach 20 is just excellent.
