I don't believe those ratings are anywhere near correct.

There are some odd numbers in there indeed. Sun Belt is ranked higher than the MAC? Maybe SB will become a "P5" to these guys in a couple years!

SunBelt is higher because they never removed UMass from the MAC.

The primary thing to take away from these statistics is the slippage of the Big 12...

When there is a much smaller gap between 5-6 as opposed to 6-7, it's only natural people are going to start asking questions.

For sure. With my computer models the Big 12 is still ahead of the AAC but it's closer to the AAC than it is to the next P5 conference. The AAC is also significantly ahead of any other G5.
