3 positive things about the season.
Mine are all about the players. Broughton has emerged as a beast. Ashworth will have 8 sacks next year. Perry Young will effectively replace either Wilson or the Will lb.

Agreed.... I just hope none of them transfer (unless TT is retained, then I'd hope all of our players transfer away from his reign of tyranny).

Definitely some good young players on defense. That's why I'm optimistic a good coach can turn this around quickly.

My sentiments exactly.

1. The weather was great for every home game.
2. The red satin finish helmets looked nice.
3. The traffic for the drive home was usually pretty light.

Probably the same reason that Boone sat last year. The people in front of him were Jrs and Srs. I swear that tt runs this team like a peewee team.

Oh I definitely agree the offense has a massive rebuild ahead but a good defense can keep us competitive as the offense improves.

He had a nagging ankle injury most of last season.

RE: 3 positive things about the season.
For 10 years or so I have made it a practice not to schedule any trips or leaving for the FL condo that would interfere with things like Conference Championship or Bowl Games. This year I booked stuff that conflicted being very sure UC would not be in the AAC Championship or any bowl.

Regrettably I was right.

Will we ever again get to Orange, Sugar, Belk, Liberty or Military? Hell with Tubs here in future years I doubt we get to the Toilet Bowl!

If this was the case, which I do not believe, than it was tremendously mismanaged. The injury occurred in the Miami of Ohio game and subsequently, he established himself as the best runningback only to evenly share carries with the other two. He averaged 3 more yards per carry and had about the same amount with many less carries. He was the most effective when given the ball. If he was too injured, he should not have played.
