La Tech vs....

1) WKU- with a win vs Marshall or an ODU loss to FIU this weekend

2) ODU- with a win vs FIU and a WKU loss to Marshall

Yup. Beyond that it's just a matter of location. If Tech wins, they host. If they lose, they go on the road unless both WKU and ODU lose.

Yup. And I believe (someone correct me if I bungle it)

La Tech hosts if
* it wins
* it loses but WKU and ODU also lose (technically they only own the tiebreaker against WKU as of now, but it's hard to imagine ODU passing La Tech in the computer rankings if both win)

WKU hosts if
* it wins and La Tech loses

ODU hosts if
*it wins and WKU and La Tech lose

I was picking at galojah... We don't play until Saturday. But WKU recruits Florida heavy and WKU fans enjoy Florida in the winter

They picked Florida last year, as did Marshall the year before.
If it was the same bowl WKU played in last year then maybe they go for something different, but since it's a different bowl I can see WKU making another trip to Florida.

But it won't matter, because the C-USA champs will be in Dallas while WKU goes to Florida

I could be wrong about this, I was wrong about something years ago, I think, but I believe the conference takes all bowl receipts and covers all expenses of teams going to those bowls, regardless of who goes where. Anyone know for sure?

WKU will pick Boca if given the option.

Miner, I believe the conference collects all fees and distributes any excess. Only problem is there never is an excess as the conference ponies up travel expenses and such for Bowl games.

On that note, payouts don't really matter anymore other than the Access Bowl.

I would love to see our conf champ WKU or LT to face Memphis, it would be a great game

If USM makes a bowl IMO they should not receive what is in essence the third best bowl available. It would be more equitable for ODU to be in NO and USM in Bahamas.
