Congrats!
Good day to remember for anniversary:)
It's horrible! He can say goodbye to New Years bowls for the rest of his life.
Haha. Not really, me and my wife (ex) separated 6 years ago and it took us two years to realize we made the biggest mistake of our lifes by getting a divorce. Our original wedding date was 01/01/01 at 1:00pm. Lol. We are finally getting remarried and just wanted to keep our original date which meant a lot to both of us. She is always happy to travel with me.... Just maybe not this year.
What are you doing, my friend!!??!! You got d-i-v-o-r-c-e-d, became a free man...then you wanna go and get married AGAIN---to the same female!!??!!
I got married....realized it was the biggest mistake I ever made....and after thirty years of wedded bliss I still feel the same way!!
Jes kiddin' (kinda), good luck the 2nd time around!

My new theory is that the CUSA and MWC are working together to keep UNT out of Vegas against their #1. That means trading one of the bowls to MWC for the Arizona Bowl vs. likely Idaho. I just can't think of which one because Hawaii and New Mexico are already MWC tie-ins opponents.
SBC and WMC will fill their contracted slots in Arizona bowl, which means Idaho vs MWC. Since Vegas has a MWC champ vs Pac-10 (which will go unfilled), the best case scenario is for La Tech to win CUSA, and be moved to Vegas to play San Diego St. That would free up a CUSA-contracted bowl (think HOD) to invite NT to get attendance, especially if Big-10 can't fill their slot.

Now granted I don't know a ton about this process. My understanding is the conferences have to fill their tie-ins with bowl eligible teams first (e.i. Everyone but UNT) and then whoever is left out will be used a fill-in elsewhere or whatever. That's why UNT is projected for a much better bowl than they need or deserve in Vegas by several projections. It's a necessity thing based on the flawed system and how the conference contracts work. Now trades might make it possible to change that. But that's outside our realm of speculation unless someone has inside knowledge on the subject.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL NOVEMBER 27, 2016
SEC Bowl Projections – Week 14
by Dave Miller
SEC bowl projections heading into Week 14. It’s Alabama and everyone else in a rare down year for the conference.
Who wants the SEC’s automatic Sugar Bowl berth?
It doesn’t seem like any team desires to spend the New Year in New Orleans, as Tennessee, Auburn and Florida lost over Thanksgiving weekend. At this point, there’s a chance that Gus Malzahn’s squad may have backed into the game against Oklahoma on Jan. 2 despite its loss to Alabama in the Iron Bowl.
The Crimson Tide remains the class of the league after a 30-12 victory over the Tigers, and Nick Saban’s squad looks to officially punch its ticket once again to the College Football Playoff with a win over Florida in the league title game next Saturday.
Where is your favorite SEC team possibly headed this postseason?
