Armstead needs to come off bench his shooting is awful!!!

Armstead goes 2/15 (1/6 from 3) and Highsmith goes 6/19 (1/6). When two of your starting guards score .67 points per shot on 30+ attempts you're going to lose. Somehow Porter is our only guard that can score with any consistency. Didn't see that coming.

I will again say what I said the first game (and got swatted for it). AA does not impress me (understatement) and German is a disappointment after all the hype. Between the two of them. 2-17. Hard to win with that. Still impressed with the team but I hope some minute adjustments come

Armstead situation reminds me of Baker a little bit. When NIU is firing on all cylinders Armstead is often a major part of that. But like Baker, you get these much too frequent poor percentage/many attempts nights

German will get into the zone soon. It's hard when you don't get consistent time. He will be fine.

And again, German played like 5 minutes tonight. Lumping his 0/2 in with Armstead's 2/15 is just dumb. German is definitely trying to do too much. He's driving to the basket every time he touches the ball. He needs to settle in. Armstead definitely needs to stop shooting. He can't make 2 footers or 25 footers.

Never liked AA . Thankfully he's gone next year. It's like a black hole when he touches the ball. Still think Wilson is hurt

Watching German I get the feeling he is paying a price for perhaps not playing with much structure/coaching in high school. He may need a good year at this level but when he figures it out he will be very good. It just may take a little longer than some expected

I think that's unfair with Armstead

They need Wilson and Pauga to star making some 3pters. Wilson looks like he forgot how to shoot. German is in way over his head right now. Highsmith can't make a layup right now hopefully by conference he starts finishing those lay ups. If Wilson and Pauga start making shots it will get Armstead off the court. Armstead just playing selfishly on the offensive end. A very good showing but if you're going to challenge in the MAC you must go around 500 in road games.

German has the athletic ability. You just can tell he has never played in a structured system

I think Maric had a case of vertigo tonight Good point production but my gosh he could not control the basketball. Love that Maric has some range but I just don't k ow if seeing Maric chuck threes should really become a trend

I again point out that I never said German was bad. Just disappointing. Touted as a scorer and some on this board had him starting this year he is 1-8 in the three games (ok. He had a good game against Roosevelt but come on) we have had this year. I think disappointing is a warranted assessment
