Great day for Rice.

Football wins 44-24 in our best effort of the year. Congrats to the seniors.

Men's basketball wins 100-87 at Nebraska-Omaha to climb to 2-1 on the season (2-0 on the road). Marcus Evans with 29, Marcus Jackson with 19 and Egor Koulechov with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Those three are going to be our big 3 and I think we need to keep a stat with our record when they combine for 60 or more points (so far we're 2-0 in that case).

Women's basketball wins 79-53 at HBU to also get to 2-1 on the season. Nicole Iademarco with 9 points and 6 rebounds in just 14 minutes of her first game of the season after undergoing back surgery earlier this year.

And perhaps the best of all - volleyball wins a huge 5-game match over #2 seed USM to advance to the finals of the CUSA tournament. They play #20 Western Kentucky tomorrow at 1 pm at Tudor for an automatic NCAA berth (WKU is in regardless - Rice needs the win to get a bid based on its RPI most probably).

Might be one of the better days ever.

After the NC, winning the Rainbow Classic beating a top 25 and a #4 is mine, followed by the women pulling out the 4-13 upset in the Big Dance, then FB demolishing a top 25 Utah team in their house.

But it was solid for teams to go 4-0 on the day.

I just like that FBO said "so far".
