Exclamation INJURIES LIST?
We lost a lot of guys last night & in previous games. There used to be a list of those out with injuries but I can't find it. Looking for an updated list. Seems like half the damn team (or more) is hurt. As we limp to what is likely our last game...

Previous injuries - obviously Hare & Maddie

Last night:
Lurry
Graham
Folliard
JB

Have to give props to Lurry. He's a tough kid the way he's been battling thru injuries all year. Smith 24, always got hurt last night. Don't remember seeing Oolutu out there either, maybe he got hurt before this week?

I think Lurry gave himself enough props in the preseason for everyone...

Lurry is a prima donna show boating kid who likes attention. I can not stand how he celebrates after every play he makes even when a wr simply drops a ball. He is an undersized average DB sorry guys I had to say it. I know many of you see it. He has ok cover skills and is an average tackler at best. Can not wait for Smalls and Jeff Hill (if he stays ) to be in the mix next season.

I like DBs w confidence that walk that line. It's the only way you can play that position being on an island. All the great ones are like that. Not comparing him to these guys whatsoever, but look at Marcus Peters, Josh Norman, Richard Sherman, the list goes on. The kid came from out of no where with no others offers and barely made it into school and led the FCS in interceptions as a sophomore. He got humbled a little bit this year, but he's still by far one of the best DBs we've ever had at this school. I like the edge he plays w, especially since he's tough

He's the best cover corner on the team. And unlike many Corners, he hits when he tackles. Doesn't dive at ankles. So much so that its to his detriment. He's too small to hit huys like that and ends up hurting himself. I'm no fan of his antics, but the dude is a baller. He will get healthy and hopefully be great next season.

Ha yeah, very common for average DBs to be All American and lead the FBS in interceptions. Wow... you don't have love him and his celebrations, but to say he has "ok" cover skills and you'll be happy to Jeff Hill replace him ( who gets zero PT even w all these injuries) is just comedy. We've never had a DB w ball skills like him and the instinct that he breaks on balls. He's got special skills in those areas and that's just a fact. That play last night he made where we broke on that bubble screen was not a play an average DB makes, sorry

Tuck in your shirt act like you have made a play before and if you are hurt get the F off the field. He just loves the attention. He has played better the last 4 games. He was not good at all for the first part of the year. I never said Hill would replace him I said I was excited for Hill and Smalls to be back in the mix LOL

Not Crazy just hate the showboating BS !! He looks like a fool celebrating on plays when he did not even make a play a WR simply drops a ball LOL

Hahahaha what are you even talking about. He also saved a TD last night on the same play he probably fractured his ankle. Do you know how hard that is? He can celebrate all he wants if he keeps making plays. Go back to the 50s if you don't like it.

Lurry is the best CB I've ever seen at NIU and it's not particularly close.

he has tremendous football instincts but only if he was 6- 200. But then we probably would not have gotten him

I honestly think if Smalls didn't get hurt this year he would be close to all MAC and up there for best DB on the team. At-least we will get him for another two years from the injury this season.

Ward was better. But Lurry is right up there with the best at NIU.

Did anyone happen to notice that Mario Jones was in the game against EMU. I noticed him playing in the second half. I thought he'd be out for the rest of the season but it looks like he's back. This would possibly help explain our defense in the second half. Glad to see he's alright.

Yep. Jimmie Freaking Ward. Lurry has done a damn decent job in his place.

Still looking for that injury list............

Jones may have played in first half too. Oluuto was on sidelines without his helmet. I think he was dinged but don't know what happened.
