Wake Forest is investigating a possible breach of its game plan before its game last week against Louisville after discovering documents inside Louisville's stadium that showed specific plays the Demon Deacons had never run previously.

A member of the Wake Forest traveling party found the documents Friday. Coach Dave Clawson said on the ACC coaches call Wednesday, "There somehow was a breach and I've shared it with our AD, and we are trying to figure out what happened and how it happened."

Why was Wake in our locker room the day before the game? This story seems bogus and completely ridiculous

It is too early to say. We need more information before we condemn or defend anyone.

Where did it say they were in the locker room? Even so, I can see visiting staff being given a tour of the facility.

There does seem to be a lot of details missing. Publishing this story without those details is very misleading.

Even if true, it had no impact on the result of the game. The better team won the game.

Your coach and University called us cheaters. It matters. From all I've read, some play cards were found in Cardinal Stadium by someone traveling with the WF football team on the Fri before the game. ALL the National media are calling us cheaters. Unless WF issues a statement about ALL they know and the details then they are actively hurting a fellow conference member. If it's true, everyone needs to know.

This controversy must have REALLY distracted Louisville.

They should have stolen all of Houston's plays because they are getting destroyed...

Does Wake still field a men's Div 1 fb team or is it a club sport at this point?

Pretty sure that fans of teams that lose to UConn lose their right to talk smack to anybody.

I feel like this false controversy created by Wake seriously thru a wrench into the works of UofL's prep for the Houston game. This was a Hugely costly loss that could also cost Lamar the Heisman.

In light of this dastardly deed---done by of all people a 'Conference Mate'---Louisville is going to need to take Legal Action against Wake...

Cincinnati is 4-6 with SOS of 77, Wake is 6-4, and bowl-eligible with SOS of 66. Whose team is a club sport?

I hope that was sarcasm because it had no bearing on the game last night. I do hope though that WF comes out & sets the record straight when they finish their investigation.
