Is there such a thing as a good Rice team?

They once had a coach once with a winning record overall. It was before they cut a hole in the peach basket though.

They are a "sleeper" team because of their guard play. They have 3 really good guards in a league where guard play dominates either individually or as a group...

They beat James Madison on the road by 20+ so I was hopeful.

As little as I think of Mike Davis, I would take him over Rice any day.

Rice is top 5 in CUSA in my opinion. I watched the game and follow them closely and I believe you can attribute last night's loss to still learning how to be good. They are expected to win for the first time since the Morris Almond days.
