Here's where they are heading-below are a few states dependent on natural resources for many jobs:

Democrat % of vote in presidential election:
Wyoming 22.5%
West Virginia 26.5%
Kentucky 32.7% (and a Republican state legislature for the first time in over 100 years)
North Dakota 27.8%
South Dakota 31.7%
Montana 36.0%
Oklahoma 28.9%
Ohio 43.5%

The Democratic Party's goal is to destroy the economy of those states and they know it.

having a 30 year vision is awesome.... Really..

But if you don't have 2-5 year benchmarks and policies then you're talking unicorn farts.

Love this. Every freaking administration puts out these 10 year, 20 year, etc plans - and the plans are scrapped by the new administration. I don't understand how in the world anyone thinks that this type of plan will ever get off the ground. The reality of it is - no country is going to willfully slit their throats economically. This is no different than these "awesome" plans presidents make that balance the budget - in 10 years...

RE: Where Obama’s hugely ambitious climate policies were headed
But that problem is that Obama's climate change policies were not ambitious. We're told the problem literally means the end of life as we know it, and then given pissant policies that may make you feel good, but won't have any material impact on the problem.

Average global temperatures will rise 2 degrees over the next 100 years, and that will destroy life as we know it, but if we do everything the GW activists want, they'll only go up 1.8 degrees. You want me to buy that it's such a huge problem, you better have better ideas than knocking 0.2 degrees off the rise. If it's that catastrophic, we better be figuring out how to make the rise 0 degrees.
