I think I read somewhere Ole Miss is the only, or one of the only, places federally permitted to grow marijuana? For research, but maybe to supply other universities with research involving it. Props, if alcohol is legal and doctors can prescribe insidious opioids to plant a trojan horse addiction under the guise of killing pain, ensuring revenue streams to supply the demand, as well as the cure, the marijuana legalization should be accelerated.

For years, the only federal production of weed was (still is, but I'm not sure if it's the only now) in Oxford, but it wasn't on campus. Adjacent to the intramural fields near Highway 6, though. It's for a medicinal marijuana treatment program that was grandfathered into the federal budget and the source of whatever marijuana research projects the DEA or NDIA pursue.

Thanks for the clarification.
