As I understand it (before seeing the game notes) the last two games of this tourney are bracketed so that on Saturday winners play winners and losers play...

Friday we play Gardner-Webb while IUPUI hosts Howard (IUPUI gets two home games out of this tourney).

Assuming we beat Gardner-Webb and IUPUI beats Howard (who is without their very high scoring guard) then we'd play IUPUI in an ESPN3 game.

Sadly I doubt there is webcasting for Friday's game at IUPUI against Gardner-Webb (I am really spoiled watching nearly all games).

I hope we get to see former EMU guard Darrell Combs and IUPUI.
He had a really solid season last year after transferring and sitting out a year.

The weakness of this year's team will be outside shooting and boy wouldn't Combs be a great addition to this team........if we had one more shooter, we are top 3 in the conference vs top 5

My wife and I will be heading to Indianapolis for the weekend so we will be up for the Saturday game. Looking forward to the trip as I have never been to Indianapolis.

It's nice. Mass Ave. is the spot for restaurants and night life. For a city of its size, the downtown area is surprisingly small/underdeveloped. But again, it's fun, I'm sure you'll have a good time.

I think the biggest weakness is shot selection and lack of an offensive system. There are still too many quick three pointers with plenty of time on the shot clock. Also, too much individualism on offense. o'clock. Also, too much individualism offense.

I knew someone would bring this up. Darell magically learned how to shoot last year. When he was here, he was more of a chucker than a shooter. Glad he found success at IUPUI.

Combs would be out of eligibility if he was still here. So the whole "it would be nice to have him on the team this year" conversation is really a mute point.

Hasn't that always been a problem for Murphy's teams?

I'm wondering how the guys hold up today. This will be our 5th game in just over 7 days. That's A LOT of basketball.

One of our non "big 5" guys really needs to step up today. Madray is a kid that has averaged 10 ppg at the D1 level. I expect more out of him than what he's shown so far.
