You are right. The Democratic Party in the 1960's was much more open about it's racism. Today they do a much better job of hiding it with buzzwords.

They're pretty much of no use to the Navy. I'm wondering if there could be a use for them somewhere.

I don't see why not? Many of our assets are Navy hand-me-downs. Wouldn't be anything wrong with it. Additionally, the design of the vessel to fulfill the LC mission would make great sense for the CG.

I'd make the Legend Class the Navy's FFG and buy them for both services in bulk

There were next to no pay raises to match inflation over the last few years. The retirement system has been changed significantly. Funding for programs were reduced or cut entirely. Anyone that disagrees is grossly misinformed at best.
