Tommy Hubbard's my favorite for "most improved" in recent years - from rarely used freshman with no production; to vital defensive stopper who couldn't score as a sophomore; to all round player, team leader and offensive producer as junior and senior. He twice keyed runs to the NCAA.

Isaac has certainly shown major improvement, though. Having a guy like him off the bench gives us a real boost.

Forgot about Hubbard, swvabucsfan - he is definitely on the list of most improved.

Hubbard for sure. Also Greg Hamlin - but that was more a case of bartow just not being smart enough to know what he had.

To clear up what I said about Tevin... I had him hyped up in my mind as an offensively explosive kind of guy. His hustle getting rebounds has been seen and appreciated.

NC State hires UNCW's Kevin Keatts as it's next head coach. Wonder if it was a done deal similar to Forbes with us, they were just waiting for them to lose.

It's that time of year.

Probably not officially a "done deal", but most indicators were pointing towards that. (Not sure it's 'legal' to approach/recruit a coach while his season is ongoing, but don't really know.) All the UNC-W fans had been fearing this for a while.

I believe Sander and Noland had dinner with Forbes before his season was over at Wichita St.

It's totally legal to approach, offer, whatever a coach at any time. These guys aren't students, anyone can offer them a job at any time just like the rest of us. Their contract might prevent them from taking it, but anyone can talk to them whenever they want.

Makes you wonder if this recruiting trip to Florida last week was just about recruiting players. Wouldn't be a bit surprised if some school didn't happen to meet him down there to talk.

No way he would take the South Florida job. He can stay here one more year, win, and be in line for something much, much better than that.

Poor guy. I feel sorry for him other than being near Clearwater.
