UTEP @ Rice - Can Rice hold AJ down just enough to eke out the victory at home? I think yes, but this may well be the closest game in the conference this week as the Owls fly by the Miners in a squeaker.

MTSU @ Charlotte Although the Charlotte fans will not consider a win here to be an upset, conventional wisdom says otherwise. The Niners pickax the Raiders in my upset special of the week.

Southern Miss @ North Texas - USM holds onto the ball and solves two parts of the bowl picture. The Golden Eagles win to become bowl eligible and the Green Eagles are removed from any real bowl possibilities.

Old Dominion @ FAU - ODU exacts some revenge for the last-game loss to FAU last year that kept them out of a bowl game. The Monarchs shoot down the Owls for their eighth win of the year.

FAU has been a much different football team since they gotten he online figured out and Devin Singletary have blossomed into one of the leagues best.

People forget that FAU still only starts 4 seniors on the entire team.

From what I've seen 4/14 have picked FAU, and most of the 10 that picked ODU are ODU fans (and I certainly don't think any ODU fans believe we'll win just by showing up on Saturday).

Interestingly, ODU only starts 3 seniors on offense, and 4 on defense. And we only have 3 additional seniors anywhere in the 2-deep.
