I'm not aware of Thiel ever risking anything for the community. Or really doing anything for our community. Thiel is out for himself. He's not really a part of any community.

So a gay man goes out, makes a success of his life, is accepted by the community in every way, shape and form, and lives a normal life un-impeded by his sexuality choice.

Instead of finding this an awesome acceptance of the LGTBQ lifestyle by Americans, you find this inappropriate because he is not a hair-on-fair protestor? And he if not an example of what exactly you want for LGTBQ, what exactly are you advocating for?

Example #13,498 on why Trump won the election.

My eye doctor is gay and really I couldn't care less. I like him for what he is a human being. He doesn't push his agenda and most people are aware the he is gay "he just doesn't flaunt it" as I don't flaunt my heterosexuality.

Wouldn't it be nice if Tommy did the same thing.

Just shut up and accept fourth class citizenship and abuse and marginalization from society? No thank you. Politeness and acceptance of straight white male primacy didn't get us marriage equality...it didn't get us the few non-discrimination ordinances we have....it didn't repeal DADT...

you've come a long way baby.
to get where you got to today.

In Lazytom's world if you aren't wearing bedazzled jackboots and rainbow Siegrunes you aren't gay.

So, you agree that just because a man wears a dress and lipstick doesn't make that man a woman?

Again, feel free to show what Peter Thiel has in common with the LGBT community other than the fact that he has sex with men.

I've got a small donation to AFER in his plus column... That's it.

The Democrats are all about dividing people into smaller tribes and ruling over them, after they get their votes. Know plenty of gays, blacks, Hispanics, Asians that want to and need to be in the economic, cultural, and even spiritual mainstream.

Obama himself spoke against the tribalism that afflicts us, but he didn't talk about how that's the Democrats strategy to divide us.

Then I'm not white... I have so little in common with the "white community" other than my skin pigment.

My kids school is like 1% white, I'm the only white person in my house, ......

I thought you were "born gay"... If you're "born gay" WTF does that mean? You're born with a certain set of political beliefs?

Or is being born gay mean you're destined to want to bat for the wrong team.

Actually being a member of the LGBT community would presume that you'd have some cultural and/or political common ground. And I have a hard time finding any.

Roy Cohn, a Republican homosexual, loved having sex with men. He did so prolifically. But he wasn't a representative of the LGBT movement, and he never did squat for us. Thiel's the same way.

The only use Thiel has as a homosexual is to provide some ability for people who ARE anti-Gay but don't want to admit it that DJT's administration isn't going to be super hateful towards the 99.99999999% of out Gay people that don't have 2.5 billion dollars. Thiel wont stand up to the bigots. He never has. If you fund Ann Coulter, you're not one of us unless you have d*mn good reason (and he doesnt). I dont care how many d*cks you suck.

He's grieving. Hard to tell whether he is still in the denial stage or has moved on to anger.

I just hope he doesn't burn out too quick because these childish tantrums from him, JohnnyZero and Mlps are highly entertaining.

Tom, you lost. When Trump starts putting gays in concentration camps, I'll join your cause. Until then, this is really, really sad.

In Tom's view...Gay is being "all in" with gay rights and such. Just partaking homosexual acts does not make you Gay. His demographic has taken the word "Gay" for it own and to certify its agenda. It is just a semantical point he is making. If you are having sex with someone of your gender and choose to not be involved with the "fight"? You are an outcast. Kinda like an uncle Tom in the black community.

Gay is apparently a political position, not a sexual orientation

I guess Tom is in close contact to Thiel, to know what his reasons are for the things he does.

Again, please provide me with any evidence that Thiel has anything in common with other Gay men other than sex.

Look, I see Thiel as simply a badge the alt right is planning to use to defend itself from charges of anti-gay bias when it institutes a national HB2 and puts extreme anti-gay ideologues on the Supreme Court.

Again, Thiel funds Jim DeMint and Ann Coulter.

Uh..I'm certain that I can speak from my perspective of being an out Gay man that doesn't have a billion bucks to insulate myself from the discrimination that being Gay entails sometimes.

There is privilege...It is straight people trying to assign our leaders and representatives for us. And doing so cynically, by mooting people like Theil. You are free to show him standing up for the community.

Right after you prove you can both (1) be born gay and (2) be required to support a community to be gay..
