WKU game @Marshall I figured would be a Noon game but nope, either 7 or 8 EST will be kickoff and announced Sunday depending on what network carries game. Will either be on ESPN News and ESPNU. I thought ESPN meant ESPN2 at least, but I am guessing no? Oh well I still get both of these channels and its better then the garbage that is ESPN3....

First off, fully agree ESPN3 is crap. Tech-FIU was on that and the broadcast failed miserably. Had to listen to our radio guys.

Second, if this game was for the east, maybe it could have made ESPN2. But as bad as Marshall has been, the networks don't consider it worth airing.

Still haven't heard about which ESPN will have the Rivalry in Dixie, either. It's a Friday game so I'm hoping for at least ESPN2 (I know WKU-Marshall was on TV last year on a Friday because I watched it) but with the west already decided we may end up in the same situation as you. I'll probably be driving down there so it won't affect me personally, but I'd greatly appreciate the national exposure.

UPDATE EDIT: Just read that La Tech - USM will be either at 3 CT on ESPN News or 4 CT on ESPNU. So that sucks.

Neither of the season ending games have any national significance, so it's no surprise they are being buried on ESPN Ocho.

I think if Marshall had upheld its part of the rivalry, it would have been on ESPN or ESPN2. Since they are not having a Marshall type year, it's been relegated to a night game and a lesser ESPN outlet.
Still going to be a tough game for the Tops. This will be Marshall's Bowl game for sure.

Our bowl game? This season has been a dumpster fire. It will be Senior Day though. Nothing more, nothing less. WKU will win by 50 or so I'd say.

I'd expect Marshall to come into the game and throw the kitchen sink at us.

Three years ago Western was playing good football heading into that game...at this point Marshall hasn't. Even with their win over Middle.
