Wow. Wow. Wow. And wow! Bucs kept playing and never game up. They beat a good team today and this will improve recruiting greatly. I thought I would freeze out there but it was worth to see J.J. kit that winning field goal. Congratulations to all our players and Coach Torbush and staff. Such a great win!!!

According to various comments on the Samford board, their loss to ETSU was mentioned on national TV during the 'bama game - in reference to that probably costing them a playoff spot.

Kinda interesting to read their board. One almost feels sorry for them. It also reminds me of ETSU's walk thru the wilderness of the bartow years, constantly underachieving.

Great insight from one of our Paladin friends:

Samford just made the FCS playoffs! I am happy for them and for the Southern Conference. We are very well represented this year.

I thought we had blown out samford's candle and was enjoying that. Oh well one more socon team in the tourney.

Sort of blown away at them getting in. It seems like the socon has a lot of respect from the committee.

Four teams in the playoffs. And people said the Socon was done.

What a way to close out year two and our time at KTS. It looks like ETSU is certainly on the right trajectory in football. From
2-9 to 5-6 with a more difficult schedule this year. Let's hope they maintain what they did and then get it done against Furman, Mercer, and VMI.
Plus three wins again and this team is a bubble playoff team.
