KenPom tidbits
Since many consider KenPom the best statistician out there when it comes to basketball rankings, thought Id post his assessment of the Huskies as of right now Nov 14

NIU's rankings:
National rank: 133
MAC rank: 7
MAC West rank: 4
National Offensive Rank: 179
MAC Offensive Rank: 10
National Defensive Rank: 96
MAC Defensive Rank: 1

NIU's projected final record: 19-12
Best Win: Eastern Michigan (home)
Worst loss: @ Kent State

In terms of the MAC, Pomeroy has the MAC as the 9th best conference (out of 32) nationally and a rank of 1, as the best mid-major conference in the nation.

One other thing that scared me today, Cal State Northridge was LEADING @ #16 UCLA AT HALFTIME tonight. That is quite frightening for what it means when NIU has to go there next weekend.

But CSUN lost by 15. You should be happy though, that Akron lost to #233 Youngstown State.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
