RE: We won. You lost. Get over it
How much is accomplished in a Trump presidency is up in the air at this point. He is basically a third party candidate that used one of the two parties' infrastructure to will the election. How well will he work with the Republican congress? Will the Democratic minority in congress treat Trump like the Republicans treated Obama and obstruct at every turn, or will they try to find ways to work with him. I hope the infrastructure promised Trump made will be an opportunity for Democrats to find common ground and work with the President and Republican majority. Amending rather that repealing health care reform might be another opportunity.

Never underestimate the tension that exists between the executive and legislative branches, regardless of party. This is going to be very interesting. I am hopeful we can at least breakup gridlock to some degree.

The best way to amend a very bad bill, such as the ACA, is to repeal the scum-bum.

I remember someone mentioning that over a year ago.....he was riddled with bullets....

what's really funny, is the so called third party voters wouldn't accept that...

we're now getting ready to find out how effective a non-lifer politician can wield the wand....

it was my number one reason for supporting him out of the gate when people were talking specifics that never had a chance to take shape....

the wall.........lmao.......

I think there are several things he can do in his first year that Republicans will go along with. ACA repeal or reform....Opening up energy deposits and drilling....Tax reform. If he just goes after those 3...he will be busy. That will give him time to build relationships on the Hill and move on some of his other "tougher" agendas.

We're gonna see a President do what hasn't been done in 8 years, make deals and negotiate. Obama was horrible as a negotiator... When he didn't get his way cause he wouldn't budge, he issued an order. Also probably the reason we made such a sh*tty deal with Iran.

I think that's the attitude everyone should have. I didn't like Obama but I respected the position he held. Everyone that's screaming to impeach him doesn't understand you can impeach someone who's not in office. Give the man a chance. I can't speak for everyone else I gave Obama a chance in 2008, but never casted a vote for him.

Obama was a sh*tty negotiator because:

1. when it came to negotiating with americans, he did exactly what that British guy in the youtube video was bitching about. You cant have a dialog and negotiate in good faith if you lead off calling the other side racists, bigots, xenophones, homophobes, etc.

2. When it came to negotiating with foreign powers, he would cave on everything just to get a deal. Obama is like your divorce attorney, who, when negotiating your divorce from your wife who was caught cheating with a 15 year old boy and smoking crack in front of your kids, gave away your house, makes you pay alimony even though none was due, and gave your ex-wife complete custody of the kids, and then spikes the football and tells you he was able to get the deal done.

Obama negotiated with himself. His first offer was a compromise instead of everything he wanted. Then got mad when Republicans wanted to negotiate from that point.

RE: We won. You lost. Get over it
China is already capitulating. They wanted Clinton likely because she would be a weak negotiator just like Obama.

"Chinese President Xi Jinping has called Donald Trump to congratulate him, Reuters reported.

“I place great importance on the China-U.S. relationship, and look forward to working with you to uphold the principles of non-conflict, non-confrontation, mutual respect and win-win cooperation,” Xi told Trump by phone, according to Reuters.

Trump bashed China often throughout his campaign.

China’s state-run newspapers had said relatively little about Trump’s and Clinton’s policies and their implications for U.S.-China relations and instead focused on scandals, according to an earlier report in The Washington Post.

According to that analysis, Chinese propaganda favored Clinton over Trump, pointing to the depths of Chinese concern about a Trump presidency."

Same here. I actually was hoping Obama would do super job and work between the aisles to achieve good things. I had no idea he was such an autocrat.
