I, someone who supported Ted Cruz in the primary and wrote in Evan McMullin this past Tuesday (Texas was going to Trump anyway so don't you dare jump on me for not voting for him), vowed to give Trump a clean slate and get behind him. You should drop the vitriol as well. We need to be UNITED!

Duly noted. We should still get behind President-Elect Trump as a country and give him a chance. That was my whole point.

My top-3 candidates at the beginning were Cruz, Rand Paul, and Scott Walker. I got behind Trump after a week of kvetching, because I couldn't allow Hillary Clinton to ever step in the WH. Of course I live in a deep blue state and my vote is essentially meaningless.

I didn't realize we make decisions based on other elected Senators feels!! A wise man once said, "they don't boo nobodies!". So the fact 90+ Sentaors are getting their jimmies rustled means he's doing something right. Sen. Cruz should stay right where he is, IMO.

He just does not impress me. There has to be plenty of candidates better than him.

He's one of the brightest candidates out there. And he's not a liar. However, he is frequently very lawyerly careful with his words (i.e. if you don't listen real carefully you might believe he lied because he misleads).
