Let's not forget those who opposed Trump. They will pay big league.

Not likely. He needs them to move his agenda. Watch and see the love fest occur.

Unless Trump believes that Ann Coulter and the Drudge Report can steer him through the next 4 years, he will simply have to reach out to a few vanquished foes. The trick is knowing which ones to forgive and which ones to destroy.

It's started already.

I admit I haven't kept up with the drama day-by-day, but -- didn't Trump/Cruz already sign a peace treaty?

If his preliminary choices of lobbyists and party hacks are any indication? 03-banghead

The Neocons need to go, they didn't just bow out, they went to Hillary publicly. The rest of them will get with the program.

But the Lyin' Ted pulled that stunt at the convention.

The "Lyin' Ted" moniker is such bullcrap. He's the most honest man in politics. But of course, the die-hard Trump supporters bought the magic show from Trump hook, line, and sinker, and they don't want to do any research of their own.

*shakes head* firm, with all due respect, do your damn research on the man next time.

At any rate, it doesn't matter anymore. I, someone who supported Ted Cruz in the primary and wrote in Evan McMullin this past Tuesday (Texas was going to Trump anyway so don't you dare jump on me for not voting for him), vowed to give Trump a clean slate and get behind him. You should drop the vitriol as well. We need to be UNITED!

Are you aware that firm's 'support' of Trump is nothing more than a troll job? He admitted, at the beginning of this year I believe, that he was trolling the board with his support of Trump. So take anything he posts about Trump with a dump-truck sized grain of salt.

Duly noted. We should still get behind President-Elect Trump as a country and give him a chance. That was my whole point.

My top-3 candidates at the beginning were Cruz, Rand Paul, and Scott Walker. I got behind Trump after a week of kvetching, because I couldn't allow Hillary Clinton to ever step in the WH. Of course I live in a deep blue state and my vote is essentially meaningless.

Id be very disappointed with Trump if this happened. Cruz does not deserve to further his career one iota in any capacity in Washington. He needs to go home and be a ambulance chaser. He made his bed. Fck him and his greasy ass hair. He gives me the damn creeps.07-coffee3

My perspective

Gets him out of the Senate where he is hated

Throws conservatives a big bone and he is probably the closest thing to Scalia you will find this day and age

He just does not impress me. There has to be plenty of candidates better than him.

I didn't realize we make decisions based on other elected Senators feels!! A wise man once said, "they don't boo nobodies!". So the fact 90+ Sentaors are getting their jimmies rustled means he's doing something right. Sen. Cruz should stay right where he is, IMO.

He's one of the brightest candidates out there. And he's not a liar. However, he is frequently very lawyerly careful with his words (i.e. if you don't listen real carefully you might believe he lied because he misleads).
