Lyin Ted was just Trump bs, kind of like low energy Jeb. People who worked with Jeb just laughed at that because he is one of the most high energy people they know. He just isn't a shoot from the hip ******* like Trump. He actually thinks before he speaks.

We had a really nasty election because we had two people with New York values running against each other.

I think most will come groveling back because the pressure will be on to get things done with a GOP controlled congress. They will look the fool even more if they don't get on board. Start with Oballahcare and appointing a Supreme Court Justice to get the hearth warm to bring the GOP together in the same room. Did you see Paul Ryan's face when Trump paid him a visit last week? He looked like a kid with a credit card in a candy store or one who found a box of his dad's old Playboy magazines.

*shakes head* firm, with all due respect, do your damn research on the man next time.

At any rate, it doesn't matter anymore. I, someone who supported Ted Cruz in the primary and wrote in Evan McMullin this past Tuesday (Texas was going to Trump anyway so don't you dare jump on me for not voting for him), vowed to give Trump a clean slate and get behind him. You should drop the vitriol as well. We need to be UNITED!

Are you aware that firm's 'support' of Trump is nothing more than a troll job? He admitted, at the beginning of this year I believe, that he was trolling the board with his support of Trump. So take anything he posts about Trump with a dump-truck sized grain of salt.

Duly noted. We should still get behind President-Elect Trump as a country and give him a chance. That was my whole point.

My top-3 candidates at the beginning were Cruz, Rand Paul, and Scott Walker. I got behind Trump after a week of kvetching, because I couldn't allow Hillary Clinton to ever step in the WH. Of course I live in a deep blue state and my vote is essentially meaningless.

So I'm wondering...

What the **** is all your cry baby pissing and moaning about my ass then. Really aught to plug your gaping bleeding hole up.

Lyin' Ted.
Little Marco. Or the guy who was never worthy of a nickname because he was at 2% in the polls. Forget his name. Governor of Ohio. Biggest loser.

Id be very disappointed with Trump if this happened. Cruz does not deserve to further his career one iota in any capacity in Washington. He needs to go home and be a ambulance chaser. He made his bed. Fck him and his greasy ass hair. He gives me the damn creeps.07-coffee3

My perspective

Gets him out of the Senate where he is hated

Throws conservatives a big bone and he is probably the closest thing to Scalia you will find this day and age

He just does not impress me. There has to be plenty of candidates better than him.

He's one of the brightest candidates out there. And he's not a liar. However, he is frequently very lawyerly careful with his words (i.e. if you don't listen real carefully you might believe he lied because he misleads).
True. You can certainly out-personality him, but Cruz might be the smartest person in politics in terms of the law.

Having gone to UConn, you aren't very smart. I bet you got very low marks in school. I've been a Trump supporter from day one. I used my reverse psychology to get all of you fence sitters to move toward Trump and it worked beautifully. #maga

I'm guessing that Trump knows most of what is said in a campaign is politically motivated and normal opposition mudslinging. If Trump believes some of his prior opponents can move his agenda forward he'll work with them. As a business he has to be pragmatic.

That said if he brings them in and then they take part in back stabbing, monkey business or shennanigans then there will be hell to pay.
