they didnt start the year THIS bad. however, at this point, they may be the worst team we have ever had. worse than Monken's 1st team. at least monkens team blew out UAB and made a little progress. ive never seen a team fall apart and get out classed and out coached this bad. heck, the 0-12 team was in a lot of games but frankly gave up bc they hated that crap staff (and i dont bame them). do you think this team is currently as bad as the 0-12 and 1-11 teams? im afraid i do.

there will never be a staff worse than EJs, but these guys are terrible. im not sure if ive ever seen anything quite like this.

Some of these games have reminded me of 2012.

This coaching staff just cannot coach like monks staff on offense. They do not have the football IQ. But given a quarterback like Keon they can use a much simpler offensive scheme and be effective.
Hopson may of been more successful had he not had a system quarterback that was a senior this year.
That being said the defense is still horrible.

Throw in dropped passes...Nick looking lost....boucoup turnovers but we haven't caused any...TERRIBLE kickoff coverage and kickoff returns=Recipe for disaster..

I'm telling ya folks, an exciting QB like Howard will get fans fired up and help us with 'cruitin'...it's so obvious we are the better team and when/if we lose, I'll feel better than I ever have after a loss... (didn't say I will be hap-hap-happy)

Agreed on everything except maybe the part about being more successful if starting fresh from Day 1. The offense would've had to be AWFULLY good to make up for this atrocious defense. On the other hand, maybe a better-tuned offense cuts down on the turnovers, which gives the defense fewer opportunities to suck, so who knows?

Football only...

This is what would have happened in 2012 if the team actually played for EJ. Not very good but not bad enough to fire everyone.

The most concerning part is that we get worse every week.
