As I stated before the first game, we shouldn't expect a first year HC, that ran a spread run option at a SWAC school, to keep the train moving full speed ahead. The coaching staff simply doesn't know how to coach this team. And how in the hell did we expect the defense to be any good when he sucked as a DC anyway?! Defense sucks, special teams sucks, and the coaching staff has on offense the keys to a corvette, but they don't know how to drive it. Oh, and Keon gets a pass for obvious reasons. He still looked LIGHT YEARS better than Alford.

Sure would be nice if the coach for Tampa gets fired and Monk wants to come back, damn.

Hopson can't coach because he can't coach, not because he came from the swac. The SWAC is really bad football, but it doesn't mean they could never have a great coach.

I think it's great Keon is getting his feet wet NOW, instead of first game next year....He will now know what to expect..

Put Woullard and Maberry on the same team as Howard, and not only do we have a terrific backfield, but guys from the area who WILL draw interest and fans..

Your point it valid however the team regressed tremendously from the first game. Different opinions regarding talent etc traditionally regression due to coaching. Depth chart of injured players can also cause issues however this doesn't appear to be the case

Just my two cents

Not hoppy....errr...happy by any means...but Hop will be here next year, so only HOP-ing for the best..

and yes, the regression after mid-season is very disconcerting..

ok, now how about that defense? and no matter what system youre in, the WRs still gotta catch. anyway you slice it, the coaching staff **** down their legs this year. none of them get a "pass" for any reason.

Hopson loses his last six (well almost) to not be bowl eligible. Oh well.

Defense actually hasn't given up lots of yardage in most games, just has faced poor field position (how many times do we throw INT's or fumble on our side o' the field?) and plays the run well until those undisciplined 75 yard TD runs rear their ugly heads.

Hey! You guys can give up if you want. I'm as discouraged as y'all, but Howard will be All-Everything the next few years, Hop will be back, so we can all become Bummer fans or Hop----err..HOPe for the best!
