As we prepare for the games its time to talk about TV sets.

For those of you who haven't shopped in a while, 4K has almost become a standard option on a TV. Its to the point where 4k is available at the lowest flat screen price points.

Those TV's are cheap because they either don't have all the same qualities those brands usually have or are made with inferior parts. Buyer beware! They sell them cheap for a reason.

One thing you need to know before you buy these 4K television. As ATSC 3.0 is not finalized (hopefully it will be done in 2017), your 4K television will come with ATSC 1.0 tuner and you will watch program at 1080i resolution. Your source of higher resolution program will be limited to Ultra HD Blu-ray player as now. But both player and UHD Blu-ray disc are very expensive. If you buy a TV no matter how cheap it is, you need to spend much more to enjoy it.

I do love Black Friday. Home Depot has some pretty good deals,I'm usually able to pick up some tools and stuff for the garage.
