How much tailgating you planning to do? You might want to leave around 7am and no later than 8am to get to the Stadium with enough time to tailgate. Its a pretty solid 2 hour drive from there....

Yup - Wrightsville Beach actually. A friend is an ECU season ticket holder with tailgate spot. See ya in G Vegas!

Not quite a sea or pirates. 3/4 empty stadium at kickoff. The GOR has killed ECU attendance. Chancellor says ECU has no control over game times. I strongly believe this is on purpose, as ESPN wants to dilute the value of non p5 games to keep them cheap. ECU'S strength is the fan base and a full stadium on GameDay. By putting ECU on at noon, it severely limits the number of out of town fans that can make the game. In 20 years of ECU football, this is the worst military day attendance ive ever zeen

It's a mixture of holiday weekend, not a good season, and a noon kickoff (ours fans notoriously shows up to the gates too close to kickoff and noon games don't help matters). Win last week and have this as a 3:30 game and it would've been better.

Disagree. I drive 80 miles and so do many friends. The time is always the first factor considered. Student section is also barely half full. That's 100% start time.

No it isn't. I'm not there today because I have other plans. If the team was good I would've changed those other plans. If the team was good students would get up.

That shite happens but we still need to support the team and be unified. Too much hate and excuses lately. (I'm a liberal and even I don't understand why pizza pity parties happened on Wednesday... now not having classes I can understand as everyone likely stayed up late)

Noon kickoff, losing record will do that for you.

Crowd was bad but not as bad as I expected. Cleared out quickly as it should have. Already sold my Navy tickets, not in protest made plans months ago when this was the bye week and just can't make it. Bummed because I wanted to see Jones break the record in person.
