I honestly think this "CalExit" movement makes sense. Let 'em create their own country. Let 'em take the rest of the west coast and some New England states, too (if those states want to join). Maybe Mexico would like to be part of this new country, too? They could have their own Supreme Court, and do away with the (actually never establish one in the first place) Electoral College. It would be difficult, but we'd have to figure out some way for people who want to move to/from our current country to the new one, could have the time to do that. I'm sure government workers and private enterprises in each country would be needed and could be filled by more like-minded people. Maybe we could make visits to see friends/relatives in each a little less complicated?

I don't say any of this sarcastically or with contempt.

I say all of this simply because it's probably the ONLY REAL WAY a much bigger majority of the people living in their country today, can have a good chance to be proud of their country (whether its the same one or a new one) tomorrow, and four years from tomorrow, with regularity each new four years -- in addition to their day-to-day lives.
