RE: What are the odds
I guess Mike Bohn was very uncommitted to either change or keeping TT to night. He said that he recognizes the problems to paraphrase it is due to recruiting. I have read nothing to believe that it is better than a fifty/fifty chance. Some dude over on 247 who went believes that he will definitely be fired. He bases this on Bohns comments.

RE: What are the odds
Well, I went and came away thinking not much chance Tubbs gets the axe. Basically doubled down on defending Tubbs. Recruiting issues are seen as the root of performance problems. AAC and yes, lack of fan passion and support were mentioned. Almost chastised us for leaving blow out games early. Very pessimistic on coaches that would be attracted to UC.

Mick's recruiting challenges were listed as AAC, facilities and again, lack of fan support. He did admit to holding up new locker rooms. Title 9 issue.

SMDH.

We really did waste all that money on the Nippert renovation. Well, at least we got a really nice Soccer pitch out of it.

I would expect him to defend TT right up until he sent him packing. That's the standard line of all ADs who have embattled coaches.

The AAC doesn't explain why we haven't been able to compete with other AAC teams. And the comment about fan support is troubling, especially since it's due to the poor quality on the field. Once TT starts fielding a second half team, maybe you'll see fans stick around in the second half.

He has to recognize the downward trend and the displeasure of the fan base. Let's hope he can make the right call.

No... There are plenty of diplomatic, non-committal lines the AD can use.

We've all heard them.

The $$ for the buyout is prohibitive, and with the financial state of the AD, they won't take the risk.

Can you not add and divide or are you simply a troll. TT cost you 2.2 for 3 years. A new coach will cost 1 million for 3 years. 6.5 vs 3 plus 1.5 =4.5.

Great. Just f*****g great. What a clueless tool. I know I say this in jest a lot but it's becoming more and more apparent: He really is the UC version of Mike Brown.

It increased by 500000.

I believe that would weigh towards Bohn keeping Tuberville.

It depends on whether 500000 is considered chump change. Did we need to raise it to sell recruits or was it part of the good old boy network. We can only speculate.

What are the odds now? For tomorrow? For December 8?

I predict a for-sale sign in front of a certain nice residence over in Newport within about a month.

They likely raised it to create a contract that was agreeable to both Tuberville and the University. Tuberville gets an extra half-million dollars in his pocket and UC gets to fire him 3 months earlier than in the previous contract. It's a win-win, of sorts, but mostly for Cincinnati, who can see a cost decrease in his buyout and have all of December to find a new coach.

Just saw Brandon Phillips will waive his no trade clause, so maybe there will be two homes available on that street...

I'd say 99%+ for Dec 7. It's obvious to everyone that he's done here.

1-5 in the American Conference. Fighting to stay out of 6th place in the division. Outscored in conference games 182-92...you'd have to actually try to screw up a top 25 program this badly in this short amount of time.

The odds are 100% he has lost the team due to incompetence in hiring and malfeasance in commitment.

He's gone. Unceremoniously. He knows it.

He's gone. Does anyone even think we will keep it close against Memphis or Tulsa? I can't even believe I just typed that. We will get blown out in both games. No way he comes back for another year.

Loses in those two games are a foregone conclusion. Question is, will we be able to score a TD in either game?

I just threw up in my mouth. How in the freak did we get here? It is beyond belief that we could not only fall off, but for it to be a total fiasco. It's not just losing, we will have disappointing seasons, it's the complete ridiculousness of getting blown out constantly.
