We'll know for sure soon. Carolina has games scheduled with Indiana and Kentucky within the next three weeks.
Go Heels!

Like Bilas, I think they are currently the best team in the nation so far.

Cheers,

I FREAKING HATE JAROD HAASE. I don't know why but he makes my blood absolutely boil. Maybe it's because he was at UAB and I hate UAB.

State should be good this year. With two very good freshmen guards, Henderson, Doren, Rowan at the wing, and three good big men in Abu, Kipita and the young Turk they have talent and depth.

Today is the first ever meeting between Louisville and Baylor. After today, the only P6 programs Louisville has never played will be Texas Tech, Iowa State, and Washington State.

Well we fell apart today. It was bound to happen sooner or later. Glad it was "sooner" rather than later... now, we can work...

Louisville played at 9:30, the 4th & last game of the day, & finished after midnight after playing OT. Their reward for winning is a 2:30 tipoff, second game of the day, against Wichita St of whom played in the early season on Wednesday. So Wichita St gets about a 24 turnaround while Louisville gets almost 14 1/2 hours. Why do the losers get the night session? This is crazy!

Louisville beat Old Dominion 68-62 in OT.

The answer to your question is obviously a combination of TV and Thanksgiving.

Cheers,
Neil

It's definitely tv, with AXS & ESPN wanting Louisville & Michigan St games. AXS airing the night games on Wednesday & Thursday while ESPN is airing the early sessions on Thursday.

I think this played a factor in the championship game, you could tell that the Cards ran out of gas. Baylor had a full day rest between each game while the Cards lost their legs & gave up a 20 point lead to a good team.

Not sure if Penn State is this terrible ..... or if Paul Hewitt and Brian Gregory can't hold Josh Pastner's jock strap when it comes to offense.

I mean really.

This is the first time I've seen Georgia Tech run real half court offense against a power conference team in ages.

Pastner is actually a decent coach, an upgrade for GT at least.

GT lost, but it was nice to see stretches of competent half court offense. Especially given that they were scoring with (mostly) a bunch of nobodies that wouldn't start at any ACC school other than Boston College.

Good job Pitt of giving another ACC up yours to Maryland.

The ACC-B1G challenge stands at 2-2 right now.

ACC winners: FSU, Pitt
B1G winners: Penn State, Northwestern

ND beat Iowa 92-78 to go to 7-0.

ND is 8-1 vs. the Big Ten the past three seasons.
