I'm afraid things are going to get really ugly really quickly. No mandate, but they think they have one.

Or people suck it up like every side thats lost an election has, and then come out and vote in 2 years.

If your party voted more in off presidential years Trump being President wouldn't really matter all that much.

Its not how big your mandate is, its what you do with your mandate.

First of all, a minority vote doesn't repudiate.

Second of all, if the first appointees all want to jail us, don't tell me not to be scared.

But the groups that will hit the streets aren't likely to be led by the LGBT people. Oh we will be out there, but we won't be the first group.

I predicted exactly this a week ago. It was almost assured this would happen.

This is what happens when you grow up getting participation trophies for losing.

You got stomped in the only vote that anyone was trying to win, the electoral college. Your attitude is one of the biggest problems in America. "Elections have consequences"-Barack Obama. Maybe you should listen to him.

A democrat got elected as county commissioner in hamilton county that I don't like. Maybe if I go throw a temper tantrum downtown the election results will change.

It's not fair that the person I voted for didn't get elected.

Do you accept the process that was just carried out to elect The POTUS?

There is no real fear. There is only butt-hurt, and some of that is literal apparently.

Im serious. Many of these young people benefited from having parents that gave them everything they wanted...went to schools that coddled them and now even reject ranking students for excellence...got participation trophies despite being horrible at sports and having zero athletic ability. They have NEVER really deal with losing. This is a shock to them and they do not know how to handle adversity. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD. The fact is...WINNING is hard. It takes WORK and dedication. These folks are in for a world of heartache much worse than losing a damn election.

There are 3 incompetent, ignorant fools on our County Commissioner board. All 3 Democrats. They somehow get re-elected every damn time. I think I might kill myself over this. After all...These 3 actually impact my life much more than what happened in the State and National races.

What? House elections are by popular vote by district.. how can those not be legitimate?

If the districts are ridiculously gerrymandered so that the Dems need to win by 15 points in the raw vote to get a simple majority. Then legitimacy is in question. The House majority isn't legitimate.
