Facebook Ads
Anybody else's Facebook overloaded with ads today? I'm at the point I can't hardly use Facebook. Every other post is an ad for a game or for some liberal cause or college degree.

RE: Facebook Ads
I'm isolated from most friends 75 miles away. No high speed Internet so Facebook is what I've got.

RE: Facebook Ads
Just tried to block an ad and it told me I have a weak connection and wouldn't let me block it. Have full 4G signal.

RE: Facebook Ads
Never had the desire to be on facebook. I have real friends not virtual connections. Don't care about what anyone is eating or if their child put their siblings diaper on their head or not!!

Man, you guys without The Book of Face are losing out on a meltdown of epic proportions. There are a lot of people convinced the KKK is literally behind every fence post.

Also, not to many liberals proud of America any longer. And don't forget, you are a racist.

The meltdowns are epic. All the negativity from my liberal friends is beyond reason. I don't see any significant amount of gloating or anything from the right.

RE: Facebook Ads
You have to deactivate ads individually, right?

you can hide them individually. Ads for really popular stuff like the Mobile Strike app can be blocked all together. Only issue they just pick a similar ad in its place. I had blocked about 15 to 20 ads when it told me I had a weak connection and couldn't block anymore even though I was still able to use facebook.

I repeatedly block the UNC online MBA as offensive. I have no faith that UNC is capable of guaranteeing their students actually earn their degrees, especially online. That and their tag line is just incredibly arrogant - "The online MBA that you probably can't get into".

I posted this to find out if anybody else has been overrun with ads since the election. I've asked a liberal cousin of mine and a couple of liberal friends and they say they don't see a difference. Literally every third or fourth post is a sponsored ad on my page. Used to be maybe one out of 20. I could see Facebook flooding people's feeds with ads if they liked a bunch of conservative things.
