The Rate, AKA Low Interest Field
I'm a Sox fan so I'm allowed to joke about the name of the park. Anyway, what a fun place to watch a football game. The views they had on the big video board were unbelievable. Many times our eyes were drawn to that instead of the live action right in front of us. Imagine how great it would be to have a video board that big in Huskie Stadium. I made that very suggestion to Sean Frazier recently. Since the trend around the country is lower attendance at games it is unclear whether we will ever need those end zone seats in the Huskie Stadium plan, even if we go to the American Conference. Rather than spending money on seats that won't get used maybe a better use of those funds would be to buy a much bigger video board. Imagine the Huskie Stadium fan experience if they do the east and west side upgrades and add a huge video board similar to last night's. It would be off the charts, everything would be first class. Maybe you could get 20K plus to games and that might be the optimum in the new sporting landscape. They could also position the new, big scoreboard so the endzone stands could be built in front of it at a later date if absolutely needed.

Also, kudos to the entire athletic department for making this great event happen. It took a tremendous amount of work.
