Yeah, that's the thing. Without Matti (sp?) Northern was not a real good team, particularly in the 2nd half. But, the Rockets can't take an entire half off to get it figured out for the second half.

That was at least the 4th game where we do zilch in the first half. Coaches have to figure something out for these next two games.

Beating NIU by playing one half of football - priceless but way too stressful!

Credit NIU for controlling the LOS on both sides of the ball in the first half and on a drive in the second. That was about it as the Rockets' OL and DL took over the game in the second half. When Hunt stopped running on swing passes I lost it a bit; but he brought his A- minus game running with heart and determination. Taking his helmet off after the winning touchdown earned a minus (big one) putting the kickoff team back to the 20. Great coverage on that kickoff. The defense forced a huge holding call on NIU #71 putting that 15 yards back.
