Trump elected president

EMU bowl-eligible

I feel like I'm living on Planet Bizarro

Or the end times are near.

Although many (or most) don't know (or don't care), Clinton actually won the popular vote (by 400K out of 120M who voted for either Clinton or Trump).

This is the second time since the 1800s that a presidential candidate won the popular but not the electoral. The other was 2000 Gore/Bush. Never happened in the 1900s.

That is why we should all go to the 2016 EMU bowl game.

Agree 100%!

With the impending Russian nuclear war, and the fact that Hillary and Al won't get their chance to immediately change the climate......we'll all be atomic dust, or 50 feet under water in a matter of years.

Scary stuff! Support your Eagles now, before it's too late.

Always wondered what it was like to experience the 60s. I think we're getting a little taste right now.

I experienced the 60s.

We were taught how to prepare for a nuclear attack (as if there is a 'defensive strategy' really????).

And the Vietnam War protests which were frequently pretty violent.

The animus between Nixon and the anti-war crowds who frequently gathered in Lafayette Square across from the White House.

I suspect the anti-Trump crowds will have no trouble finding Lafayette Square and Franklin Park (nearby), McPherson Square, etc.

Buckle up. It will be interesting to follow.

[I spent 25 great years of my life working a few blocks from the White House. Anything happening at Lafayette Square was like something happening down the street. (e.g., when Pope Benedict came to D.C. he passed from the White House to Lafayette Square, etc.).]

Probably best to just end the thread and put it off till after the CMU game.

More interested in us playing up to our potential, and ending the season on a high note, as momentum for next year.

Actually I had started another bowl thread a few weeks ago that we can 'pivot' too...
