I know they play the games for the tv money but it is sad. No one goes to the games and it destroys the game atmosphere. College football is all about alumi and team fans traveling to the respective campus and supporting their team. It's depressing to watch a ranked team (Western Michagan) play in front of no one.

But you have a captive audience and EVERYBODY is watching your team on TV.

...unless maybe you're on opposite something the rest of the country is more interested in like the World Series or election results, but, hey, how often could that possibly happen?

how that was handled is our torn legacy at this point....flat out wrong any way you look at it....

if you have to fire a man, you look him in the eye and move forward.....that was nothing but poosy stylin' on that dance floor....

Mike and Mike were discussing the Big10 beginning Friday night games and the consensus was that they didn't like it because it "overexposes" college football and competes with high school football. Pretty hypocritical since ESPN pioneered the "non-Saturday" football game and simply wants to fill airtime during the week.

I don't like it either, but the money is the tail that wags the dog.

I am for them. The View needs some competition.
