There is an article today about how Baylor should be kicked out of the Big 12 because—well---they are a cesspool of slime and villainy. The question was rhetorically posed: “What desperate idiot would go coach Baylor in 2017.” The answer: Tommy Tubberville.

Furthermore, if Baylor was to be removed from the Big 12, you guys are looking to be a natural fit to replace Baylor.

I may be wrong, but hope is dead here, and no one in Cincy will be taking that bait.

Baylor's not going anywhere.

This would imply the Big 12 being proactive and reasonable. So, not happening.

It also assumes the NCAA truly cares about doing the right thing and has the means to act upon it. After seeing what goes on at Penn State, North Carolina, Miami, etc., why would anyone expect anything to happen to Baylor?

Sorry, but this thread is dumb.

1) The only way Baylor is "ejected" from the B12 is if some outside agency...the Southern Baptist Convention (the Church that oversees Baylor), the NCAA, or some such...were to demand or mandate Baylor discontinuing D1/FBS athletics operations. Possible, but not likely.

2) If Baylor were to be "ejected" from the Big XII, the obvious addition to replace them is Houston. (Another Texas school with SWC ties.)

I'd say you would get a completely different response, if you did this over at BCJ.
