Forgive my ignorance, but isn't Paul Ryan the current frontrunner to be the nominee in '20? Or is he going to be the "man behind the curtain" influencing who gets the best shot at the nomination? I know a lot can change in 4 years but I thought he was the current top choice, with Ted Cruz up there as well once again.

Ryan, Cruz, Rubio, and Christie will likely be there in 2020. Pence as VP with Trump not seeking re-election could put him in the front of the pack. No telling who else would join the fray, but I hope its no more than 5 or 6 total candidates. 17 was nuts.

who knows? After Obama won in '12, it was a slam dunk to many that Jeb would be the nominee in '16.

I think Don Jr. or Ivanka will be the nominee.

Do you make it a habit of publicly posting illegal acts?

http://lawnewz.com/high-profile/are-voti...50-states/

Quote:South Carolina – State law prohibits voters from allowing their ballot to be viewed by others. Additionally, the state attorney general issued an opinion in 2012 stating the law also makes it illegal to reproduce a ballot by taking a photo or video recording.

Guam which has voted for every winner since being allowed to cast ballots, goes for Clinton.

We both know that law wouldn't stand up in court. I can only imagine the EFF and ACLU salivating at the chance to crush that one.

I suspect their new little addition of "YOU MUST VOTE IN 3 MINUTES" also wouldn't stand up. In a major general election like this one -- particularly with long ballot measures to read -- it just flat out takes more than 3 minutes to vote. I had three PAGES worth of races to decide, some of which were total write-in with no candidate declared. And a ballot measure.

Sodomy is also illegal in SC. I presume you've never received or given non-vaginal intercourse before then?

RE: Official Election 2016 Open Thread
Oh well, the piece of equipment I was waiting on to get delivered so I could go do the familiarization training will not be in until the end of the week at the earliest and I had already planned a trip Thursday to the hunt club until Saturday morning then going up to Clemson so it will be next week until I have to worry about it. I'm loading up and heading to the woods early so at the very least I'll be in my happy place when the world comes to an end tonight. Y'all have fun and if Trump wins beware the violent leftists and the inevitable riots keep your head on a swivel and follow the advice of General Mattis : “Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.”

Waited 45 minutes to cast my "wasted vote!" The entire line was pro Trump, but eight years ago that line was pro Obama.

I though Evan McMullin's running mate was some chick?

https://www.evanmcmullin.com/how_to_vote_for_evan

Quote:You may be wondering why we are asking you to write in “Nathan Johnson” and not Mindy Finn, Evan’s running mate for Vice President. As you know, the campaign was required to file paperwork in order to qualify as a write-in. At the time, a formal Vice Presidential pick had not yet been made. However, Evan’s trusted friend Nathan Johnson offered to step up and fill the Vice Presidential slot in order to meet the legal requirements of write-in filings. Therefore, when casting a write-in vote, the vote should be cast for “Evan McMullin” and “Nathan Johnson.”

In the event that the election is pushed to the House of Representatives, Nathan Johnson would then resign as the Vice Presidential nominee to be replaced by Mindy Finn.

RE: Official Election 2016 Open Thread
The official theme song of this election:

Quote:I'm leaving this town I'm out of the race
I'm packing my bags I ain't gonna stay
I can't stand the pressure building on me
Don't try to stop me I've got to break free

Take me down to the cool clear water
Don't worry about me
Take my time stay a while
Don't have to worry about a thing
Don't you know
I'm going down to the cool clear water
Don't worry about me
I take my time I'll stay a while
Don't have to worry about a thing

They tell you the truth but you know it's a lie
Big brother is watching the eye in the sky
Just take your freedom and throw it away
'Cause sooner or later we're all going to pay

Take me down to the cool clear water
Don't worry about me
Take my time stay a while
Don't have to worry about a thing
Don't you know
I'm going down to the cool clear water
Don't worry about me
I take my time I'll stay a while
Don't have to worry about a thing

They're taxing the rain the water we drink
Just do as you're told there's no time to think
We shouldn't forget what we learnt from the past
Stop looking at life through rose coloured glass

Take me down to the cool clear water
Don't worry about me
Take my time stay a while
Don't have to worry about a thing
Don't you know
I'm going down to the cool clear water
Don't worry about me
I take my time I'll stay a while
Don't have to worry about a thing

With all the people I know in PA, it's looking like it will go Trump. It will be all up to Philly for Clinton to win. Looks like Pittsburgh is going red this election.
